Moving from 2023 to 2024, multiple regulations on the control of toxic and harmful substances are set to take effect on January 1, 2024:

2. HB 3043 Revise the Non Toxic Children's Act
On July 27, 2023, the Governor of Oregon approved the HB 3043 Act, which revised regulations related to chemicals in children's products and came into effect on January 1, 2024.
Some states in the United States have also required manufacturers of certain categories of children's products for use by children under 12 years old to declare if they contain chemicals listed on the Children's Highly Concerned Substances (CHCC) list and meet the following conditions:
CHCC (s) is intentionally added and exceeds the actual limit of quantification (PQL), or;
CHCC (s) is a pollutant in the product and its content exceeds 100 ppm.
The declaration content includes the following information:
①The name of the chemical substance and its CAS No;
②Product category;
③Functional description of chemical substances;
④The range of quantities of chemicals contained in individual products of each type;
⑤Manufacturer's name and address, contact person and phone number;
⑥The name and address, contact person and phone number of the industry association representing the relevant industry;
⑦Any other relevant information (if applicable).
